I try to incorporate local are into my work whenever I can. Large murals and street art can act as magnificently beautiful backdrops for an on location portrait. The Houston Graffiti Building is one of my favorite locations to shoot portrait sessions for this reason. Its exterior walls are adorned with murals, street art, and graffiti making it the perfect background for any client wanting a uniquely artistic and urban feel for their session. The vibrant colors act as a fun back drop to everything from child portraiture to senior portraits and everything in between. I recently did a photo shoot with my gymnastics ambassadors, Ava & Yaya, and the results were pretty incredible.
The artwork artwork changes regularly (there are a few staples that have been there ever since I discovered it about 4 years ago). I like to go back every few months to see what is new. I would recommend you do the same if you get the chance to visit it. There are some really great works done by extremely talented artists. You won't be disappointed!
